The exhibition « La Vieille forge des Bergeronnes » (Bergeronnes’ Old Forge) tells Omer Gagnon’s tale. He started as a farmer and switched to being a blacksmith as the demand for iron products grew. His art is issued from the traditional French way. Established in the beginning of the 20th century, Gagnon’s forge became Bergeronnes’ economic center. The villager’s work depended solely on the local forge’s merchandise. The exhibition invites you to discover the forge’s heart, multiple tools, and some of Omer’s creations.
